Your Wedding Ceremony

Congratulations on finding that special person you want to marry. It’s certainly something worth celebrating!

Marriage ceremonies are a significant moment in life. They’re an opportunity to beautifully express your love and commitment, and as a celebrant it’s my absolute joy to help make that happen.

As your celebrant, these are my commitments to you:

  • To deliver a wedding ceremony that truly reflects your values and dreams

  • To take care in making the planning process of your ceremony easy and enjoyable

  • To complete the legal and administrative aspects as effortlessly as possible, professionally and in accordance with the law

Your Bespoke Ceremony in 4 Easy Steps

We can meet in person to get things started and you’ll have unlimited contact with as much assistance as you like while your ceremony is created. If you choose to have a rehearsal I’ll be happy to attend, and you can be sure that on the day your personalised ceremony will be delivered with loads of heart. I can also take care of all the legal paperwork on your behalf.

1. Contact me

Get in touch! If I’m available we can lock in the booking immediately, or arrange an obligation-free meeting to see if I'm the right fit for you (meetings are generally held at a cafe in Lane Cove / Hunters Hill area).

Once you’ve decided what type of ceremony you’d like, I’ll send you the booking details. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment and then we’re ready to go.

2. preparation

I’m here to take the effort out of planning your ceremony; making the process enjoyable while also ensuring legal requirements are met. Great care will be taken in creating a ceremony that is a meaningful reflection of you both, and something you totally love.

You’ll have access to my super-organised resources including traditional and modern marriage rituals, readings, personal vows, and music inspiration. The ceremony script will be drafted with your input, allowing ample opportunity for review.

In the week or two leading up to your ceremony we can do a rehearsal in person, or by phone/facetime/etc.

3. The Ceremony

It’s your big day! I’ll be there at least 30 minutes early to set up and ensure everything is ready.

During the ceremony I’ll be a calm presence as you are guided through each part including signing the certificates and your introduction as newlyweds.

4. post-ceremony

As you coast into the sunset of wedded bliss, I’ll still be working for you behind the scenes as I lodge the paperwork to officially register your marriage.

If you need an official marriage certificate (eg. to change your surname) this can be happily arranged on your behalf.

Short & Sweet Wedding Ceremonies

If getting married without a big ceremony is more your style (while still wanting something more personal than a government Registry office), I offer a basic wedding package. Fee includes lodgement of legal paperwork, the ceremony, and a commemorative marriage certificate.

Ceremony wording is provided and includes the necessary legal requirements for your marriage to be recognised in Australia. If you require an official marriage certificate (eg. to change your name), this can also be arranged on your behalf.

Please contact me if you would like to know the specific fee for your ceremony.
