Signature ceremony, written especially for you

Your wedding, your way. Your story, personalities, values, and relationship woven into a ceremony that couldn’t belong to anyone else as it’s been written just for you.

At every stage of the process, you can be confident I’m working to make your ceremony the absolute highlight of your day.

Before writing your ceremony script I’ll take the time to get to know you. I’ll listen to your ideas with genuine interest and you can lean on my experience and creativity. Your ceremony script will be written to align with your values from beginning to end. Personal touches will be seamlessly blended and we can include your love story, rituals, readings… anything you’d like! If you’re dreaming of a particular idea, let’s make it happen.

With my signature attention to detail, your ceremony will be beautifully prepared and delivered. I’d love for your ceremony to make you feel fantastic and for your guests to experience a truly special celebration of depth and joy. Might they also wonder if we’re old friends since your ceremony is so perfectly suited to you? Yes, possibly.

A preview of your ceremony script can be provided with opportunity to give feedback - or perhaps you may prefer it to be a lovely surprise on the day. What matters most is that you feel understood, supported, and completely happy.

Classic ceremony with thoughtful personalisation

Best for couples who want their ceremony to be heartfelt and modern with thoughtful touches, without needing a completely bespoke script.

Your ceremony will strike the perfect balance of reverence and fun. so you can enjoy every moment as it happens.

The planning stage will be easy for you. We’ll schedule a meeting to discuss your ceremony with special attention given to the moments that can be personalised. This can include a processional entrance, words about marriage, personal vows, ring exchange, and how you’d like to be introduced as newlyweds.

Closer to your ceremony date, let’s have a phone rehearsal to reconnect and review our ceremony plan, so everything is beautifully prepared for your big day.

 

Legal $600

Simple, intentionally short

Best for couples who want to keep things truly low-fuss.

This simplified format is sometimes known as a ‘micro-wedding’, ‘elopement’, or ‘Registry-style’ wedding.

Includes the option to personalise your vows and exchange rings.

Usually best suited for up to about 20 guests.

This option is also suitable to book alongside a cultural marriage ceremony when a celebrant is needed simply to take care of the legal requirements in support of your traditional celebrations.


 

Additional service: MC

After your ceremony, would you like your reception to run smoothly with a familiar face at the helm? Book me as your MC!

Add MC services to your ceremony package and I’ll guide your guests through the evening, introduce key moments, keep the schedule on track, and make sure everything flows so you and your guests can all enjoy the celebrations.

Next steps

  • Confirm your booking
    Please let me know which package you’d like (Legal / Simply Sweet / All About Us) and I’ll send you the booking papers.
    Bookings are locked into my calendar once the booking fee payment ($200) and signed Service Agreement is received.

  • Payment Terms
    $200 booking fee payment is required to secure your booking. Balance due closer to your ceremony date.

  • Notice of Intended Marriage (‘NOIM’)
    This pre-ceremony paperwork must be lodged with your celebrant at least one month before your ceremony. Earlier is better. As your celebrant I can help you complete it.

Other services / fees

  • Marriage Certificate issued by the government Registry Office of Births Deaths & Marriages.
    This certificate is required for official purposes such as changing your surname with marriage. As your celebrant, I can submit the application on your behalf. This is an optional, separate service as not everyone wants one. If you’d like me to submit the certificate application for you, I simply ask the fee charged by the Registry Office to be covered, which is $70. You can let me know at the same time as making your ceremony booking so it goes on the same invoice, or decide closer to your ceremony date.

  • Travel Fee
    All packages include up to 50km return travel from Lane Cove NSW to your ceremony venue. Further travel is $2/km

    • ‘Legals only’ ceremony package: maximum distance is 100km return from Lane Cove

  • Public Holiday fee
    For ceremonies held on a NSW public holiday weekend, an additional fee of 25% will apply.

Anything else to know?

  • My PA system can be available for use during your ceremony, subject to venue rules and weather forecast. Personally I don’t mind a bit of rain but my PA system must stay completely dry. I use a high quality microphone and speakers for excellent sound.

  • For meetings held in person, I’m available to meet in Sydney CBD, Barangaroo, Lane Cove, Hunters Hill, or Chatswood at a café or bar of your choice.
